I met Joe in 1965 when he was the youngest Inspector of Public Schools ever to be appointed in Ontario. We served in neighbouring Inspectorates. This began an unbroken friendship with a wonderful man and his family. His insight and sense of humour carried us over the rough spots. Our sympathies go to Wilma,Anne,Joe and Jane and their families. The light of his spirit lives on. Dave and Doris
