Bill Mar took the time to start a Judo Club at the Huntsville High School in the late 1960’s. He was a tough instructor. I remember he had one RCMP, a few students from the High School, and even some gals; there were maybe a dozen of us. I was not one of his best students but I could see you really had to work hard to be graded. Much respect for that man. Sorry to see him leave so soon.

Dear Geri, We didn’t get a chance to talk to you at Sutherland Hall today, but it was so wonderful to meet Carey and see Colin and Melanie and talk to them. They spoke so lovingly of their dad and of you and of your whole family.Of course, we think of you mostly as one of the very best teachers that Dan ever had, and we remain so very grateful for that. He thinks the world of you, and so do we. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, Geri. Blessings, Win and Martha
