The death occurred, surrounded by the love of her family, at Algonquin Grace Hospice Huntsville on Thursday, June 6, 2013, of Phyllis Wild of Huntsville.

Beloved wife, canoe racing partner, cheerleeder and fan of Bob Wild.

Dear mother of Ted, Robb and the late Patti.  Loving grandmother of Laura Wild and her soon-to-be husband Nathan Zimmer, Bill Mitchell-Wild and his wife Brandy, Dylan and Carlye Wild.

Friends are invited to gather at Blackburn’s Steakhouse, 7 John Street, Huntsville on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. to share memories of Phyllis.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Algonquin Grace Hospice Huntsville or the Huntsville Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated.

    I am so very sorry to hear that Phyllis has passed on. I always enjoyed seeing her at canoe races and I admired her greatly. Sincere condolences to Bob and family.

    She was a wonderful Mother & Sister.She raised me from infanthood until she was married.A fun person to be around. Very Positive. If she was handed a bunch of lemmons she would make lemonade. She was a Great Sports Enthusiast & I have always thought that is whereI got my enthusiasm for sports. Love you PHYLLIS & always have.Wendy
