WERRY: (Beatrice) Lenore – Peacefully, and surrounded by her family, on January 30,2019 of Huntsville, in her 90th year. Beloved wife, best friend and travel companion of Bruce for 67 years. Adored mother of Lisa of Haliburton, Pam (Steve) of Barrie and Celia (Perry) of Forest. Sister to Ron O’Reilly (the late Helen). Predeceased by her parents Jessie and Meredith O’Reilly of Shelburne, brother Jack (Joan) and sister Phyllis (Carl).
Lenore (Graduate, U of T – Victoria College, 1950) will be remembered for the incredible life she lived both at home in Huntsville, and during her travels and living abroad, most notably in Ghana, West Africa, and Montserrat, West Indies. Her colourful legacy includes her many paintings and sketches, her political activism, her fondness for music and the creative arts, her finesse on the golf course, with a good bridge hand and in the garden, and her gift of storytelling. Appropriately, Lenore’s farewell gathering will take place within the walls of Trinity United Church, where she served as choir member, organist and on numerous committees throughout her lifetime.
Friends are invited to gather at Trinity United Church, 33 Main St. E, Huntsville, Ontario, on Saturday February 2nd at 1:00 PM for a Memorial Service with Ken Deer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntsville Library Foundation, Huntsville Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A reception will follow in Trinity Hall.

Dear the Werry family
Certainly the Werry family was a part of my growing up in Huntsville. I have recently been going through photos etc about the Rotary theatre productions and remember how important Lenore was in those as the accompanist during rehearsals. In the background for sure but a very important person in the community. Enjoy your memories of your wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother

What a privilege it was to have had such a force of humanity and greatness in our choir at Trinity. Her support toward me and the music was unflagging, her candor refreshing and her keen interest in others unmatchable. Her joy in sharing her life experiences, as well as her wealth of wisdom was unmatched. I am so grateful to Lenore for simply being Lenore. Farewell my mentor and my friend. I regret being away, but she understood the value and essence of family better than anyone. My family and I will be with you in spirit on Saturday, and with deepest respect and love. Love Johnny

Dear Mr. Werry, Lisa, Pam, Celia, and all her Dear Loved Ones:
In the very early years of Mrs. Werry’s life on Lake Drive, she ran a small nursery school, which I was very fortunate to have attended. It was a wonderful experience full of music, laughter, crafts, tasty snacks, and my very first friendships.
When I began walking to and from school, the Werry’s had a blind collie tied up outside on a run that was always ready to be petted and talked to.
All through my life she was there in the background singing in the choir, having her children, travelling & living in Ghana, travelling back & forth from Montserrat, hosting my wedding shower, exposing me to political candidates, and being a very good friend to my mother and father.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that she was a silent force in Huntsville, and she will be enormously missed.
I am very thankful to have been a tiny fragment in her great sphere of influence.
My condolences on your very great loss.
