I was saddened to hear of Cal’s passing this week. My family went up to the marina on a number of occasions when I was young. I loved going up there to hang with the boys and boats. My father would sing Hello Dolly and Cal would take us for boat rides. I have great memories of your family. My wife Joanne and I stopped in years ago and had a nice chat with Cal and Dolly. Unfortunatly I cannot make the service but my thoughts are with all of you.Doug Bell

Dear Dolly and family. Peter and I were sorry to hear about Cal’s passing. I’m sure he’s sitting somewhere in the shade with a pocketful of peanuts and is surrounded by chipmunks. That’s how I will remember him. All our prayers to you and yours.

Dolly and family,My brother Doug told me that Cal had passed away and I want to let you know of at least one wonderful memory that I keep of your family and especially, Cal.
I was away at university in St. Catharines and Cal was at a Boat Show in Toronto and agreed to come down to take me out to dinner and check up on me – at my mom’s request:) Cal took me down to Niagara on the Lake to one of the most beautiful restaurants in a winery and we reminisced about my dad. We talked about life and how Al and Cal got into the marina business together. It was a great time and I will remember it always.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

I was looking for another obituary & saw this. Please accept our sincere condolences. Cal was such a nice man & always remembered me, regardless of how much time had passed. He will certainly be missed amongst the local breakfasters. Again, our deepest sympathy. Shelley & Andy.
