Peacefully Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital. Elsie (Wreggitt) Delage, age 84, beloved wife of the late Joe Delage (1982), they were long time residents of Huntsville. Elsie and Joe operated the Huntsville Beauty and Barber Shop from 1964 until their retirement in the mid-seventies. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her sisters Grace Macey of Uxbridge and Margaret Miller of Kitchener as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Matthew, Gilbert, Ivan, Sister Gladys Dogger, Nephews Peter Smith, Edmund Miller Jr and great nephew Steven Stewart.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bastedo and Huntsville Hospital staff for the compassion and tender care they provided. A special nod to the nursing staff in the emergency department.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 18th, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in the Addison Chapel of the Mitchell Funeral Home.
For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Animal Shelter for Huntsville.
