John was George’s lifelong friend. As boys, they did some remarkable things and enjoyed remembering them to the day John died. John was my friend for more than fifty years and all I can say is that while one would not want John for an enemy, he truly was the very best friend a person could want. John and Paulette opened their home, at a moment’s notice, to many, many friends and neighbours and we are glad we had the priviledge of forever being welcomed into their home. We love you John, and we will forever miss you. A great deal of “flavour”” has gone from of our lives. See you again John
