Our sincere condolences are with John’s family during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with John in Markham for over a year. We developed a very good friendship and enjoyed many great times together during that time and also after I retired. The memories will last forever and John will be deeply missed.

I remember John as Brenda’s little brother so cute with those amazing Pott’s eyes. I would see John on more than one occasion in the 80’s at TGH where I worked. I remember him sitting at the front entrance of the hospital smiling and cheerful to everyone no matter what his challenges might be. I send my heartfelt sympathies to my friend Brenda, and to all of John’s family at this sad and tragic time. He will most certainly be missed by all who knew him. Sincerely, Deb.H.

My thoughts and prayers are with John’s family and friends during this time. John and I worked together for more than 10 years at the DOMC and although I haven’t seen him much over the last few years since I retired from Hydro One, I will always consider him to be a true friend. We shared a lot of our lives together, had many good laughs and helped each other through some of the more challenging times. John was a loyal, steadfast guy who valued his co-workers like his family. He was proud of his team, his Huntsville hometown, his friends and family and will be missed very much by all of us.

I only knew John for a few years. He was a regular at the BWW in Barrie. I will miss our heated debates about everything sports. No matter how your day was going John always had a way to make you smile or forget about your troubles. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I will be cheering for your Rangers the rest of the year in your honour. RIP my friend.
