Our beloved Jude lost the battle with cancer on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Algonquin Grace Hospice, Huntsville, at the age of 56. Beautiful, gifted, irreplaceable.
Predeceased by parents Herman and Mary Braun Enns, sisters Joan Eleanor and Janice Patricia.
Judy leaves behind her beloved wife Linda Burgess of Okla, daughter Sara (Patrick) Olsen, son Nickolas Weidner (Sean McNally) and stepson Steven Burgess of Okla. Loved by Olsen grandchildren; Jocelyne, Sidney, Jordan and Myla. Missed by sister Linda (Sid) Welsh; Braun sisters Bev Braun, Kathy Hewko, Susan (Paul) Cote, niece Joanne (Alan) Armoogam, and grand nieces Victoria and Sarah Armoogam.
Two thumbs up to the A-Team at Algonquin Grace Hospice: Dr. Harrold, Norma Connolly, Bryn Milner, the nursing staff, personal care workers and volunteers, you are a gift from God to this family. Also, to Dr. Stevens at RVH, Barrie, thank you for not giving up on Jude.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a location in Niagara at a future date (to be added to this site when confirmed).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Algonquin Grace Hospice, would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to Judy’s family at this difficult time. Special thoughts go to Linda whom Judy loved so much. I worked with Judy for a short time in Sundridge and I will always remember her energy and love of cooking. She was an artist in the kitchen and always strove to please her patrons. May she rest in peace.
