Maggi Best

You are here: Home / Obituaries / Maggi Best

Maggi Jane Best, born March 23, 1982 in Huntsville, passed away May 10, 2018 in Barrie.

Survived by her children, Talon Branch and Summer Best, and stepson, Joey Branch.  Predeceased by husband Paul Branch.

Daughter of Pat and Garry Best and sister to Evan Trapp (Roz) and Keith Ryan (Chris). She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Maggi was kind, caring and a bright light who deeply loved her children and her dogs but was unable to escape her demons.  She will remain forever in our hearts.

In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Internment at Hutcheson Cemetery to take place at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to The Table Soup Kitchen or Chrysalis Women’s Shelter.

Rest in peace, Mags.

Sometimes I am at a loss for words. This is a tragedy all the way around. May the family find solace in knowing there is finally peace for her, and that some of us who knew her, will be learning a valuable lesson when we realize how vulnerable we all really are.
