I was reminiscing with my children about two amazing summers way back in the 1960’s when our family rented a cottage from your wonderful, hospitable and gracious parents-complete with freshly caught trout and the beauty of Algonquin. For some reason I decided to google your family name and noted with sadness the recent passing of your father. I was probably only about 7 at the time but the summers at Oxtongue lake bring back magical memories. On behalf of my parents Arthur and Betty Kruger and our family-we extend our condolences.

Dear Flossie, Jean and Colleen (and your families): so sorry for your loss. To think of him, makes me smile. It was always a great times in the Bowen kitchen up at Oxtongue Lake.

I was saddened to hear about Marvin’s passing. I have pleasant memories of walks in the woods with him and my dad in years gone by.
