Nancy Cormack passed away peacefully during the early morning of Thursday, March 31, 2016 in her 87th year. She will be sadly missed by her husband Martin; her sons Scott (Patti) and Greg (Genevieve Blais); grandchildren Samantha (Matt Brown) and Wade, Tyler and Katie (Joey Cooper) and their mother Nadine Dodds.
Nancy enjoyed dancing to the big band sounds with Martin over the years as well as curling, traveling, and fishing with dear friends at Kippewa. She also spent many hours in the hockey arena supporting and cheering not only her sons but her husband and the Huntsville Oldtimers. Throughout the years, Nancy proved to be ahead of her time with both health and fitness. She spent much time participating in either yoga or aerobics and researching and following a forward thinking nutritional lifestyle.
Nancy’s family would like to express their great appreciation to the wonderful staff of both Huntsville Hospital and Algonquin Grace Hospice who cared for her with great professionalism, compassion, and tenderness. Their kindness and efforts will always be remembered.
At Nancy’s request, there will be no public service.
Any donations to the Huntsville Hospital Foundation or Algonquin Grace Hospice, woud be much appreciated.
