I don’t get home very often anymore but when I was up last week I was saddened to see Ruth’s passing notice in the paper. My memories of Ruth are from the 80’s and 90’s at the Huntsville Curling Club. No matter how the game was going, she always managed to have a smile and a laugh for everyone. My thoughts and sympathies are with you Ross and Jeff at this time.

Dear Gilbert Family: It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. We are reminded in the Bible that God sees our pain and sorrow and has promised that soon death will be done away with…swallowed up forever.(Isaiah 25:8) He will mend our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(John 6:40) I hope in the days ahead as you reflect on the life of Nona, and the wonderful memories left behind, that you will also find comfort in God’s promises to us for the near future. I am so sorry for your loss.
