Steve and Mark, So sorry to hear of Uncle Owens passing. Always a great listener and confidant, with understanding and wisdom. A great inspiration for all. Will be greatly missed. He and Sybil are together again, and I’m quite sure he is planning his next “steam”” project. Take care

Dear Steve and Mark – Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. This came as quite a shock for us. We were not aware that Owen was ill. My dear cousin Sybil and now Owen. I have so many fond memories of the two of them…Sybil a beautiful piano player, so cheerful and always a smile on her face…and Owen a devoted husband and father. We will miss you both!John and Sonja [Clarke] Garlick

Since you called us Steve, I have thought of you and Mark often and remembered you in our prayers. I think of the many good times we had, our family and yours… Moving McQuay’s cottage pieces on the barge, the “blue goose””

Mark, Steven,I am very saddened to hear that my dear friend Owen has departed. He was a teacher and confidant beyond any other in my life, a kind of grand father that I never had.
I know it must be hard, especially on you Mark as there is an empty space in your home as a reminder. But I believe that your father is in a better place and with his dearly loved Cybil, and somewhere he is building a steam powered something.
My heat felt sympathy to you and your families.
Regards,
Kenneth Ciphery
